Directions
By local train (and taxi)
You can reach the Abbaye taking the local train (RER B) to Saint-Remy-les-Chevreuse. (Take care, not all RER B trains go to Saint-Remy-les-Chevreuse.) The RER B train station Saint-Remy-les-Chevreuse is located at 10km from the Abbaye des Vaux-de-Cernay and reachable by a 10 minute taxi ride.
RER B can be taken directly from the Paris International Airport Charles de Gaulle (the ride takes 1h25), from the secondary Paris Airport "Orly" (take the OrlyVal shuttle to the Anthony train station;from there the ride takes about 30 minutes) and from several stations in central Paris (the ride takes about 50 minutes). RER B going to Saint-Remy-les-Chevreuse run every 15 minutes.
A map of the RER B line is availablehere.
Tickets for RER B can be bought at the RER station before boarding the train.
